BESS BOUQUET WORKSHOP

Bess will host a bouquet workshop at Oxley Hill Farm, inviting guests to create bouquets using flowers sourced on The Oxley Hill farm. The workshop will focus on teaching the BESS style of working with a mix of Australian wildflowers and softer varieties, encouraging participants to embrace the natural character and sculptural qualities of the blooms and stems. We are passionate about working with locally grown flowers, introducing people to the remarkable diversity of flora, from bold textures to delicate details, and exploring how they can be arranged in unexpected, contemporary ways - all while nurturing each participant's own creativity. The workshop will be a creative and immersive experience, with every guest designing their own bouquet to take home. Each creation will reflect both the distinct beauty of the flowers from the
farm and the unique perspective of the maker's hand.

Wreath Making Class with BESS

BESS WREATH WORKSHOP

Bess will host a wreath-making workshop at Oxley Hill Farm, inviting guests to create sculptural wreaths using dried paper daisies, celosia, billy buttons, hydrangea, pinecones, fresh rosemary, pine, seasonal foliage gathered onsite at Oxley Hill. Each wreath will be crafted on bases of torched willow harvested directly from the farm. The workshop will focus on the BESS approach to creating with with locally grown flowers-embracing their sculptural lines, textures, and natural imperfections-while weaving them together with fresh greens and dried elements.
Participants will be encouraged to celebrate the materials' character, building wreaths that feel both wild and refined. The result will be a seasonal piece that can be enjoyed throughout the holidays and beyond, reflecting both the beauty
of the flora from the farm and the maker's own hand.

During the flowering seasons, you can participate in a group tour & will be shown around the flower farm by Candice herself.
